How do I know whether I need a 36V, 48V or 72V battery?
Match the battery voltage to your golf cart's electrical system. A 36V cart requires a compatible 36V system, a 48V cart requires 48V and a 72V cart requires 72V. Do not change system voltage without confirming compatibility with the controller, motor and other components.
Can lithium batteries replace my existing lead-acid golf cart batteries?
In many carts, yes. Converting to lithium can reduce weight and provide greater usable capacity, but voltage, charger compatibility, physical fit, wiring and controller requirements must be checked.
Do I need a new charger when converting my golf cart to lithium?
A lithium-compatible charger matched to the battery voltage and charging requirements is recommended. Do not assume the original lead-acid charger is compatible.
How far can I drive on one charge?
Range varies based on battery capacity, vehicle weight, terrain, tire pressure, driving speed, accessories and driving style. Higher amp-hour capacity generally provides greater available driving range.
Does lithium improve golf cart performance?
Reducing battery weight can improve efficiency and vehicle responsiveness. Lithium batteries also maintain more consistent voltage through the discharge cycle compared with traditional lead-acid batteries.
