How many amps do I need in a jump starter?
Size it by the biggest engine you might need to start. Small petrol engines start easily at the low end of the range; large diesels want the high end. More amps never hurts.
Charging & Maintenance
How often should I top up a booster pack?
Check it a few times a year and before any trip you are relying on it for. A lithium booster holds charge well in storage, but a jump starter that is flat when you need it is no use at all.
